Up for your consideration is this unbelievable beaded collar or yolk from the turn of the last century. Completely hand made, thousands of faceted jet black glass beads cover every inch of this amazing piece. As seen, the tedious work is visible from the back. It is edged in fringe that is the same beads that were used throughout.
Some of it has come loose. This could either be repaired, replaced or removed. It measures 9” across the squared bottom, 7 ½ inches down each cured side. 4 ½ inches across the sides, 5 inches across the top and the neck measures 12 inches. It weighs a very heavy 11 oz. With the exception of the fringe, there are no missing beads, holes, tears or other damages. Treat yourself to this one of a kind, once in a lifetime find!
