Nice 8 5/8” x 15 7/8” frame that holds sixeen individual bar molds that measure 4 1/4” x 2” each. It is in good condition as shown, some have a couple small dents. Each of the individual bar molds has four sections with the initials: W.S.C. A great historical mold that dates to 1958 or earlier.
Wilbur chocolate has a history that dates back to 1865. In 1927, negotiations were started with Suchard Societe Anonyme, of Switzerland. On February 17, 1928, the company name changed to Wilbur-Suchard Chocolate Company, Inc.
The production and sale of Suchard items was continued until December 31, 1958, and the corporate name of the company was then changed to Wilbur Chocolate Co.
